Allow Me to Re-Introduce Myself

My name is Jamie Simchik and I started Simchik Planning & Development in 2012. After taking a step back to attend the University of Michigan to gain a Master of Business, Master of Urban Planning and Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development, Simchik Planning Development is rebooting in 2018.

I am an experienced real estate professional specializing in urban planning, transportation planning, market feasibility and public engagement. I am also a fan of LEGOs and SimCity as well as an avid real estate photographer.

I am a firm believer that all plans must be financially viable and stakeholders should be engaged early and often during the life of a real estate development. I enjoy facilitating project teams of diverse specialties and I am especially proud of participating in ULI Advisory Services programs and Plan NH charrettes.

I possess a breadth of geographical experience from working on projects in New England, Southeast Michigan and Australia. This knowledge of how planning, redevelopment and real estate finance functions in different locations allows me to think outside the box and apply innovative ideas when solving problems.
